NECROPOLIS
Welcome to hell.
Welcome to hell.
The word necropolis is defined as "a cemetery, esp. one of large size and usually of an ancient city." This definition has never been more correct. In this city, crime rates are soaring, the poverty levels are shocking, and unemployment has never been so high. The police force is almost non-existent and the government has become corrupt. Graffiti decorates the decrepit walls, and gunshots echo in the dead of night.
Throughout the city's history, the races - human, shape shifter, vampire, demon, and anthro - have never lived in peace. For years, the humans violently oppressed the other races, claiming that they were superior. For years, the other races couldn't gain the wealth, education, or medical care that the humans could.
And you know what? They're sick of it. Their rage at the injustices that have been committed against them has finally boiled over. From the dark, seedy back alleys of Necropolis, four gangs have made themselves known. They are:
The Shape-Shifter, led by a reckless, violent, and young Nathaniel Redmen. Under his leadership, they are focused solely on causing panic and destruction. As long as the humans - and rival gangs - know their name and are very, very afraid, they're happy.
The Demon, with the cold, business-oriented Bruno Fatalle. He is greedy and cold, but he knows how to get the job done: being one of the richest non-humans in Necropolis, he has the advantage... And it definitely helps that he has the legal system at his mercy.
The Anthro, with Lady Menai at their helm, know one thing for sure: cross their leader and face her vicious, merciless wrath. No one wants to know what happens to those who defy her orders.
Finally, there is the Vampire. Their leader has yet to show his or her face. The gang itself lurks behind the scenes, waiting for their chance to pounce. No one knows what to expect from them, and that makes them all the more dangerous.
The stage is set. What part will you play?
