My True Colors -Michelle-

[Mackenzie Selena Cohen]

Kenzie was walking to Psychology. She was looking at something that was on the wall when she ran into someone. "I'm sorry, are you okay?" Kenzie asked sweetly.

[Michelle Casken]

As Michelle was walking to her English class, she wasn't exactly paying attention. All of a sudden, she was run into and fell on the floor. Looking up, she realized that it was the same girl that she had seen at the principles office not so long ago. Shaking her head, she picked up her books quickly and smiled. "It's alright. I'm fine, not hurt or anything,"She said, shaking her head as she laughed. "It's Mackenzie, right?" She asked, hoping that it was so that she wouldn't look dumb.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Kenzie asked realizing it was the other girl from the priniciples office as well. "Yeah...it's Michelle, right?" Kenzie said slowly, trying to remember if she got the name right or not.

[Michelle Casken]

Michelle nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm fine," She replied, reassuring Mackenzie that she was alright. It wasn't like she had hit her head. Smiling, she was glad that she had gotten her name right. It would have been quite embarrassing if she had said the wrong name. "Yup, it's Michelle." She nodded. "So...where are you heading to anyways?" She asked curiously, she had a feeling that she was late to class already.

Kenzie smiled a bit feeling better that she hadn't hurt her or anything. "I'm heading to Psychology, how about you?" Kenzie asked knowing she was already late for Psychology.

[Michelle Casken]

"Well, I was heading to English, but I guess that's sort of postponed as of now. I don't really want to go anyways,"Michelle said, shaking her head as she sighed. It wasn't like she didn't like English, she just didn't feel like going at the moment. If she had the gut to skip, she would've of, but she knew that she'd just end up going to class very late and end up with a detention. She shook her head, it was bound to happen. "I wish I didn't have to go," she said, laughing.

[Mackenzie Selena Cohen]

"I know what you mean...I really don't feel like going to Psychology." She sighed, "And my mom would have my butt if I skipped any of my classes." She said with a shake of her head. She wanted to skip, but didn't have the guy to do it.

[Michelle Casken]

Michelle smiled, glad that Mackenzie knew what she meant. She knew that her parents would probably kill her if they heard about her skipping, but they were in Massachusetts. The chance of them knowing was slim, unless the school e-mailed them or something. "Yeah, my parents would send me back home if I did that,"She said, laughing slightly as the hall became deserted. It was easy to say 'I want to skip,' but she knew that she didn't have the guts to even do it.

"My mom, brother, and I moved here after my father...," She trailed off, not wanting people knowing what her father really did. She often just said he pasted away, but she got tired of that one real quick, "My mother would send me to my grandparents in Scotland..." She laughed a bit.

[Michelle Casken]

Michelle nodded her head, having a feeling that there was something Mackenzie didn't want her to know about. It was okay with her though. After all, there was always something you didn't want others to know. She shook her head and laughed when Mackenzie said that her parents would send her to Scotland. "Scotland?That's kind of far away..."She said, smiling. Going back to Massachusetts wouldn't be bad, if only her parents got back together. Sighing, she shook her head and looked back at Mackenzie.

"Yeah...they took me there last summer...before everything happened...its pretty, but not for me, ya know?" Kenzie asked with a smile. Her thoughts traveled to last summer.

[Michelle Casken]

Michelle shook her head, confused about what Mackenzie meant by 'before everything happen,' but didn't say anything otherwise. After a while, she nodded and smiled. "I guess going there for the summer is different than staying there for a long time,"She said, smiling. Summers for her consisted of staying home at Massachusetts and doing nothing, but she didn't mind that too much.

"Yeah...its a big difference." Kenzie smiled sweetly. She sighed. Debating weather telling Michelle the truth about her father or not.

[Michelle Casken]

Michelle nodded. She couldn't imagine staying at Massachusetts for a whole year after being in California for so long. "Yeah, it's a huge difference, She said, trying to imagine what it'd be like to go to another school other than St. Mary. It would've been weird. "Well, you won't have to worry about going to Scotland as long as you don't skip classes much,"She said, smiling at Mackenzie.

Mackenzie smiled back at Michelle. "Yeah..." Mack said looking around the now empty hallway. "We should probably get to class..." She said, the smile faded.
