Parked of the road close to the beach was a silver land rover, one that could be found there almost anytime the sun's rays were out. Oddly though, the owner of the vehicle was still inside the car.

After a few moments Bethany finally tepped out of her car, carrying her tote and sunglasses in hand. Her flip flops made the slightest clicking noise as she walked, her blonde locks moving lightly from the slight breeze. Bethany's tan was already decently dark, but she never tired of laying out in the sun on a towel, she just loved it. And today she was meeting up wiht one of her best friends; Faith Mack. After reaching a decnet spoit; far enough from the water so they wouldn't get wet, and close eough to the life guard so they could check him out. Oh yeah, this was what Bethany enjoyed to do.

Faiths red 2008 Mazda MX-5 MIATA screeched to a halt as sh slammed on her horn "GET OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY" she yelled as she stuck her middle finger out her window at the two teenage girls that thought it would be funny to run accross the street in front of a vehicle going 160. "nothings changed" she thought to herself as she shifted into reverse in order to perfectly parallel park her car, Faith had always been a good driver although she sped all the time and cussed at people, she always knew what she was doing. The car beeped when she hopped out and pushed the automatic lock, her baby blue eyes scanned the area around her as she searched for her best friend Bethany. It had been no more then 6months since Faith had been sitting at this very beach and yet she could hardly even recognize it, a smile formed on her red painted lips when she spotted her roommate. Faith walked quickly towards Bethany with her beach bag and towel in her hand, it felt like she hadn't seen her roommate in years. "Bethany" a huge smile formed on her face as she removed her black dolce glasses from her eyes and winked "long time no talk love!" it felt great to be reunited at their usual hang spot. Faith took one giant look around before spreading her towel out on the sand and taking some tanning lotion out of her beach bag, not that she even needed it. For years now the two have been going to the beach to soak up the rays, gossip and check out the sexy life guards, nothing was ever going to change that!

Bethany looekd over when she heard Faith say her name. "FAITH!" She exclaimed with a smile, greeting her best friend with a hug. It'd been months since Bethany had last seen Faith, but it also seems longer when they're a close friend. "Ohmigod, I know! I've missed you sooo much." She said as she sat down on her pink Chanel beach towel, adjusting her sunglasses as she did.

Faith smiled and returned the hug that Bethany had given her, she was glad that her absence had not put a strain on their friendship. "So girlie, how have things been?" although she already knew the answer, Faith loved hearing the gossip about things that have been going on in the school. It was easy for them to know what was going on considering they pretty much run St. Mary Academy, the girls had everything they could ever have wanted and more. "ooh did you check out that life guard?" she twisted her body and placed her sunglasses back over her eyes.

Bethany smiled as she tapped her chin. "Things have been alright, not many news things have happened." She said then added. "Staci and I went to Quizzos the other night, I danced with Jake while she made out with Brendon." She said, shaking her head with the last part; she just couldn't stand thinking about her cousin and her friends-total ick factor. Bethany turned her attention to the life guard and nodded. "Yeah he's gorgeous, but he's not really my type."

Faith gasped shockingly when Bethany told her about her latest event, its not that she was shocked at the fact that Staci was making out with Brendon- the problem was that she knew she was the "other girl" and didn't even care! "wow, thats all I can say; but hey Jake is one gorgeous guy so props girlie" Faith winked at Bethany while she continued to apply her tanning lotion. "I don't understand how such a young girl could be a total slut?". Harley ever would the S word come out of Faith's mouth but when it did you know their was complete truth behind it!

Bethany nodded with a slight sigh. "I know, Staci could try and get a good boyfriend, but she actually likes the way things are between Brendon and her." She said as she lightly strummed her fingers on her thigh. "Jake's nice, but not my type." Bethany was one crazy girl, she rarely ever had any guys liking her; due to them being more of a best friend of hers, and when one might happen to like her; he wasn't her type....this is one picky girl!

Faith twisted on the lid to her tanning lotion and tossed it into her beach bag, she then layed back onto her towel and smiled at her bestfriend. "thats not good, and it looks bad on Brendon's part as well" she was sure that once gossip girl got ahold of this news, Staci would go crying to Bethany about it. "how could Jake not be your type?" Jake is gorgeous, smart, and very popular with the ladies so it confused Faith on how Bethany could not be interesed "your seriously are one picky lady" she smirked at her bestfriend before looking straight up sowards the sky

Bethany nodded. "Brendon's not ready for a seriously relationship, so he takes what he can get." She shook her head, no matter what way you thought about it there was no good way to look at it. "Jake's....interesting. I'm not really into the whole skater scene. Jocks are the guys I like, alost the sweet guys and funny guys...not the conceited players though." She said wit a nod. "Oh I totally am picky, which isn't good for me." She said with a laugh as she layed back on her towel, emoving her sunglses as to not get weird tan lines on her face.

Faith laughed loudly at her friends remarks, this is exactly why she loved to hang out with her best friend. The pair were so alike that it was crazy, "so I guess Talon has already told you were dating" she smiled at Beth and placed her sunglasses in her hair "I'm surprised gossip girl hasn't blogged about it" a warm breeze swept past the girls causing Faith's hair to fly out of place, she grabbed hold of it with her left hand and twisted it into a messy bun. "hey isn't your birthday coming up?"

"You can bet he did." Bethnay said with a small smile; Talon told her everything. "Maybe she's just got slow spies, but I'm so happy for you two." She said as she sat up and offered Fatih a warm smile. "Yeah, it's coming up soon; October 17th. But lets please not make a big deal out of it."

"Honestly I bet you gossip girl is just some geek with cameras put up around the school!" Faith laughed out loud and turned to face Beth, "I really do hope it works between us, considering his history" her eyes sparkled but her smile suddenly faded to a frown. Faith was a little scared to have entered a relationship with Beth's best friend Talon but she knew that Bethany would warn her about anything. "I wont make a big thing out of it, just a couple of friends and I'll rent the night club? hows that sound?" The idea of renting a night club and posting an announcement on the school site sounded great to Faith but she wasn't sure if Beth would like the idea

Bethany nodded. "I agree, I mean what type of person would make it their buisiness what everyone else is doing; someone who has no life." She said then ran a hand through her hair. "Faith, I know Talon won't do anything to hurt you if he can stop it. And you know I'm not making this up because I seriously know more about him than even his sister and parents." It was odd how Bethany could know so much about one person, and that he knew everything about her. She was glad she shared that type of a friendship with Talon. "Sounds like a plan, but lets not invite too many people I don't know. It makes it a little awkward on my part."

The sun was starting to feel hot on Faith's chest, she looked at the time on her cell phone then rolled over to her back. "whatever like they say, you're nobody until your talked about so we must be fucking famous!" Faith shot a cheeky grin at Bethany then wipped out her cell phone once again "Alright, I'll just make one quick text and your party will be set up for the 17th at Quizzo" she knew exactly the right people to have the whole club booked so why wouldnt she take advantage of it. "free drinks all night" she added before quickly pressing buttons on her cell.

This made Bethany laugh as she turned onto her stomach. "I know, we've been mentioned in pretty much every blog entry......did you happen to catch the lastest thing she posted?" She asked, an annoyed tone hinted in her voice. But it subsided as she smiled. "You're the best Faith."
