his smile faded and he turned back to her his green eyes looking at her face. she looked so nervous yet needing for his answer. He sighed and looked at her and said " faith i want you" he sighed again and began into his speach, something he did when he was nervous. " i know i have a reputation, and im not the best guy there is at this school, but i can make someone happy, and i am able to have relationships...i just..i just wanted you to know" he sighed and looked at his shoes and said " this is awkward now, i probably just made our friendship awkward now right?" he sighed and looked at her waiting for her responce.

Faith felt awkward as she felt his eyes staring at her, almost straight through her. It was a great relief when she heard him say exactly what she was hoping for, she smiled and listened to him go on about his rep but none of that mattered to her at the moment. "Talon, look I know about your rep and its okay! I think we can make things work if we try to" the words were spilling out through her lips quicker then ever before, she wanted to say everything before she got emotional. "we can do it if you promise me one thing, you wont hurt me!" when she finished Faith walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist and looked him straight in the eyes "I want you to Talon Vance"

he lifted his eyes and looked at her as she spoke. he smiled hearing her words and he wrapped his arms around her waist as she wrapped hers around his. he smiled gently and looked into her eyes and said " i promise i will not hurt you faith anne mack" he smiled down at her and lifted one of his hands from her waist and gently stroked her hair and looked down at her smiling. his green eyes matching her blue.

The sound of his promise warmed her heart as she leaned her head against his chest, "wow" she smiled as she looked up at him. Never in a million years did Faith think that she would ever get the chance to date Talon Vance, and yet her she was holding him and promising to make things work between them. Could things get anymore perfect? "I'm glad were giving us a try Talon" Faith released her arms and took a step back "I've wanted this for a long time now"

he smiled and held her gently, and let out a sigh of releif. everyone had always pictured him ending up with beth, and who knows maybe he would screw it up like all the others, accidentally of course, but right now all he could think about was faith, and how much he cared about her right now. he smiled and said " i've wanted this for a while to faith" he smiled gently and took her hands smiling

Faith let her hand relax in his as she looked up at Talon and kissed him on the cheek, things were definitely starting to fall into place now. "so does this mean you're going to come to the Hallow's Eve Dance?" her blue eyes sparkled as she awaited his reply, her stomach was full of butterflies. So much had just happened in such a small time frame that it was unbelievable even to her.

he pouted and sighed and said "i cant let my new girlfriend go to a dance alone in a hot costume, i may just lose her" he smiled and bent down and kissed her cheek gently and said " i guess ill come, but now i have to wear a costume. and i have no idea what to wear" he sighed and looked at her.

"well they do have costumes for couples, but I'm not sure which one i like more" Faith handed the magazine to Talon to let him take a look "maybe you can decide what you like" she sat down on the stage right infront of Talon and waited for him to choose, Faith was willing to go as anything as long as Talon was right there beside her; thats all that mattered.

he smiled gently and looked at her and sat in front of her and said "babe, this is not really my forte. how bout you pick and i put it on and go" he smiled gently and handed her the magazine and said "show me what you were thinking about babe" he smiled gently leaned back on his elbows and looked at her waiting.

Faith took the magazine and quickly flipped it open to one of the last pages "well I was thinking maybe this one, because I really like the dress" she pointed to one of the couples costumes and looked over at Talon awaiting his decision. "If not then we can go through this magazine together" she ran her right hand through her chocolate brown hair and smiled, today is a really good day!

He smiled and watched her flip to the back and point out the outfit she liked best. he leaned over and kissed her cheek gently and put his forhead against hers and looked her in the eyes and said " if its the one you like faith then its what we will get" he smiled gently and took the magazine and looked at the guys costume and chuckeled.

Faith smiled and put the magazine back in her bag, she loved it when she got her own way "thank you" she wrapped her arms around Talon and placed her head against his chest "do you want to go some place else?". The auditorium was starting to pile with people and she knew that there was a chance that gossip girl could be one of those people.

he smiled and held her when she crawled into his lap and he smiled and said " yeah where you want to go?" he smiled gently and stood grabbing her hand and pulling her up and began to walk towards the door.

Faith smiled and gripped his hand tightly "we can go where you like babe" her eyes sparkled as she let him lead the way "where do you prefer to go?" she was more happy then anything as she walked with him hand and hand out the auditorium door.
