[Faith Anne Mack]

Faith sat quietly on the edge of the stage humming to herself as she looked through a cosmopolitan magazine, the all hallows eve dance was getting closer and she needed an idea for the perfect costume.The auditorium was dark except for one light that shone directly one her, "sexy kitten", "Naughty Schoolgirl" the ideas raced around her head as she flipped thought the pages one by one. Usually costume ideas came easily to Faith but lately her head was just not where it was supposed to be, so many different ones to choose from it amazed her that she had not gone nuts yet!

Time seemed to fly by as Faith sat their deep in thought about how perfect her night was going to be, now if only someone would ask her to go with them. When it came to getting guys to ask her out Faith has never had a problem with it, although this year she was the new girl meaning she would probably be asked just hours before the dance. Not that she couldn't work her magic, she just had to find the right boy to work it on!

Outfit

While the hustle and bustle of everything went around him at lunch talon managed to sneak away without any of his buddies notice. Everyone was talking about the Hallows Eve dance. Except him. He had no intention of going. He would rather just stay back and practice his game. which was pretty good but nothing is perfect. Besides he didnt have a slightest clue for a costume and didnt have a date. but he didnt let that keep him down.

He was sick of hearing everyone ask who people were being and who they were going with and sick of explaining he wasnt going. so he snuck away to his hide away place when he just wanted to be alone. Coming threw the back of the stage he saw her and smiled, Faith was a good friend to him, she didnt know everything like bethany did, but he could count on her when he needed to. He smiled and walked towards her and said " you needed to get away to? or are you all about the dance like everyone else?" he smirked gently and slid beside her. smiling at her.

Through all the craziness Faith was somehow able to spend time alone to herself, which was very rare for her. Usually by now she would be crowded by her regular group of people discussing the latest events, but ever since she had gotten back from Miamai her mind worked a little differently. Faiths fingers flipped through the pages of the magazine one by one as she hummed to one of the songs that was stuck in her head, the silence felt good but right now she wished their was someone to talk with her.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a familiar voice,
Talon Vance was a good friend of Faiths so she didn't mind him sitting down and chatting for a while. A smile formed on her face when she spotted him, "I really needed to get away" a small laugh escaped her lips as she put the magazine back in her purse and turned her body towards Talon "I wouldn't say I was crazy about this dance, I'm just trying to figure out what to go as!" there was something about Talon that always made Faith want to smile and open up but she just couldn't exactly figure it out. "what about you?

He smiled and watched as she put her magazine away and turn towards him with a smile. Strange thing was whenever she smiled he smiled. But he always caught on to contagious smiles. He was glad that Faith didnt know his secret. was glad that the only person to know his secrets was beth. He didnt know how others would treat him if they knew his secrets. he laughed and said " your still figuring out what to be, i figured you and the girls would be out buying the hottest outfits on the planet."

he smirked and turned his body towards her rather than sitting forward and said " me? i dont plan on going, just going to stay behind and practice more i guess, besides i dont know what the hell i would be, or who i would go with so not bothering with it, besides what is there thats fun to do there when i could stay home and do something constructive with my time and work out more" he smirked gently and said "not my scene as much as people think it is, im not into dancing very much" he smirked gently

Faith laughed at his comment and wrinkled her nose "nope, It will be the hottest costume on the planet but I just don't know what" the only thing that Faith did know is that no matter what she dressed up as, she would outshine anyone except for her best friend Bethany of course. Faith nodded as he explained himself, she knew exactly what he meant because she was feeling the same way. "you don't dance?" her voice raised a little as she spoke "wow Talon we are totally going to hit up a nightclub this weekend, I'll show you how to dance" if there was anything Faith loved more then herself and modeling, it was dancing. For the last 9 years she had been at the studio with her friends dancing, which was the reason that her body was so nicely toned; or so she thought, turns out after reading the last gossip girl blog this morning it looks like she's put on some weight. A frown formed on her face until she shifted back into reality and realized Talon was still there, she would have time to worry about those things later. "so I hear you and Bethany have been getting pretty close lately"

he chuckled and said " pour some liquor down my throut and i bet you could get me to dance" he smiled and watched what seemed to be concentration and confusion on her face and just let her be with her thoughts, watching her face. Yes like every other sane person at this school he had gotten the latest gossip girl blog sent to his cell phone. it had included him surprisingly. but it had only made him laugh. but he had read what gossip girl had written about faith, and saying she must have went off to have a kid or something. he sighed and only rolled his eyes when she made the comment on him and beth he sighed and said " trusting ol gossip girls comments faith?" he smirked and said " i have known beth since i was like 1 years old. we are like best friends, she knows everything about me and me about her. She was helping me shop because as everyone knows i hate shopping and have no sweet clue whats in style. no we are not dateing, and no we are not hooking up" he smirked gently and after explaining himself he didnt mention the gossip girl comment on her that was her buisness and if it was true he could some what relate to her, but if not people need to deal with everyone cant be the size of a stick. Faith was tiny, like super skinny and any skinnier and he would think something was wrong. to him she looked great but he didnt mention it cause that would mean bringing up the pregnant thing.

"no I don't trust everything gossip girl says.." she paused for a second and looked Talon straight in the eye "I was just curious weather or not it was true".
Faith had to admit she felt a hint of jealousy when she read the blog, but she knew that what Talon and Bethany had was nothing but pure friendship! Although Faith was like every other girl, its not that she believed gossip girl but she knew there was a 50 / 50 chance of it being true. Faith ran her hand through her chocolate brown hair and genuinely smiled at Talon as she watched what looked like a couple seconds of deep thought, she knew that he read everything about her that gossip girl had written but weather he took it into consideration was a mystery. "so what have you been up to Mr. Vance?" it had been a while since she had seen Talon so she wanted to be updated on anything and everything she could. Faith's baby blue eyes scanned the area around her as she waited for Talon to fill her in, she could see people passing by the door without even glancing in which was odd, usually people would be looking for them and have found the two by now.

he smirked and nodded and said " yeah, i like gossip girl and stuff, i would know what the hell was going around without her, but sometimes she needs to get her facts straight." he smirked and teasingly said " were you jelous when you read it faith?" he smirked and laughed he liked teasing her it was fun. he listened to her ask what he had been up to "oh nothing much, same ol same ol you know, working out, basketball, barely anytime for parties or girls," he smirked and said " what about you? other than looking for the hottest outfit for the hallows eve dance"

Faith could feel her face flush when he called her on being jealous, she now had a choice to make. "maybe I was a little jealous" the truth was an easier decision then to lie to one of her good friends "it was a you never know, kind of jealousy though, I was more jealous at the fact that I wouldn't get the chance to find out what it would be like if we were.." she paused for a minute to think about what she would say "well you know" Faith was starting to feel uncomfortable talking about her feelings so she got up and started walking around the stage "I don't exactly know how to explain it Talon, so thats as good as it gets" Time seemed to be speeding by as she awaited a look or a sentence to make the awkwardness go away, she was great full when he asked her what was up with her, that question seemed to make her embarrassment flow away "nothing out of the ordinary, just trying to put this school back in one piece! It's tough when your the "queen bee"" Faith laughed as she raised her hands to do the quotation action with her fingers when she said the word queen bee, not that she didn't like the title that gossip girl had given her.

he watched her with his algae green eyes as she began to move around the stage. almost confessing her feelings to him. he sighed gently when she stopped herself and he couldnt help but push her "if we were what faith?" he stood and slid his hand sinto his pockets and rocked back and forth on his heels watching her and smirked at her other comment and said " i imagine its tough being the "queen bee" he smiled and waited for him to answer his first question.

"its not that tough, my friends make it easy" Faith shot a pleading look at him as she tried to avoid the question, she knew now that lying and telling him she wasn't jealous would have been best but she didn't, and now here she was trying to find ways to avoid his question while he pushed for the answer. Faith looked down at her black Gucci heels and sighed, she knew that the longer she took to answer the more he would ask so eventually she gave in "if we were.." it was harder then it looked. Faith was not exactly the type of person to wear her heart on her sleeve, she usually kept her emotions bottled up "if we were together" she blurted out quickly before grabbing her purse and pulling the magazine back out.

he smiled when she said that it was easier with her friends and said " friends get us threw a lot" he smiled gently and stayed where he was with his hands in his pockets as he waited for her answer. He saw how uncomfortable she was and felt bad for making her uncomfortable. but when he heard her answer he couldnt help but smile. he didnt say anything but just closed the distance between them put his pointer finger under her chin lifted her face to look up to his and lowered his lips down to hers softly. for a tender 5 second long kiss. he pulled his lips away from her and his hands and stared at her and said " i've been wondering for a while what that would feel like, im sorry" he took a few steps back from her to give her space. he might be a player and party boy but he worried about how a woman felt.

Faith smiled at Talon and nodded her head in agreement "yeah I don't know what I would do without my friends", not only was Talon cute but he understood Faith completely which made her feel a little better about expressing her feelings to him. Faith was starting to regret telling him anything after the words escaped her lips he just stood there, she felt sick to her stomach and wanted to run out of the auditorium. Then it happened, Faith closed her eyes and felt his lips press against hers. The kiss lasted no longer then 5 seconds but for those short seconds Faith felt like everything was right, when he pulled away she just stared at him in shock No, don't be sorry, that... that was.. " the words came out shaky as she straightened her shirt and put her hand to her lips "I always wanted to know what that would feel like to" Faith tried not to get to caught up in the moment, as good as it might have been she knew the rep that Talon had and there was noway she wanted to have to deal with a player!

he watched her reaction and smiled gently but then her smile faded when he thought about it. "faith, i know the reason why i havnt had many relationships is because of the reputation i have of being a player and a party boy. And i know that everyone knows i cheated on two of my girlfriends, but faith i..." he stopped himself there, and sighed "never mind" he turned back to the door and watched people pass by and said " its funny how noones come to look for us, but at least we wont be on gossip girl later" he tried to change the subject and turned back to her with a smile on his face putting his hands in his pockets again.

The noise of people passing by the door took her right out of her deep thought as she stood there with her hand on her lips, she didn't understand how something so right could come with so much baggage. Faith watch Talon smile his gorgeous smile but couldn't help feel upset when his smile faded and he started talking "you what?" she was beginning to get a little scared when he didn't finish his sentence, scared that he didn't feel the same way about her as she did for him. "don't change the subject Talon, if theres something on your mind then just tell me" she begged him to finish what he was going to say because deep down inside she really wanted to hear how he felt.
