"Am not." Bethany said with a roll of her eyes. Though Bethany was pretty, she begged to differ, and would point out flaws to you. "It's more like the guys consider me as 'one of the guys' because we're close. I'm too close to guys to be girlfriend material." She said as she handed him some of the clothes, pushing some hair from her face with a laugh. "But no complaints on this side. Besides, being a close friend to a guy is almost like beign their girlfriend.....only without the kissing." She said with a smile; sure Bethany wanted a boyfriend, but she was content with just being the friend to most guys.

he smirked and said " blondie you are beautiful, dont let anyone tell you other wise" he smiled gently and stroked her cheek and said " no matter what and no matter who you will always be my main girl" he smiled gently and said " dont worry i know there are guys out there that would die just to date you, you just havnt seen it or met them yet but dont worry when you meet that person they will have to get threw me to hurt you" he smiled and said " while were on the subject....i have to ask you a question concerning faith"

Bethany smiled. "Aw, thanks Tal." She said as she then patted his cheek. "The same goes for you; you'll always be my main guy." She said, walking to the couter and setting down the clothes, then turning and listening to his comment. "Yeah?" She asked with a raised brow.

he smiled and watched as the woman rang the stuff up. he pulled out his credit card and gave it to the woman and turned to her and took a breath and said " well, its kinda uneasy for me to say but, what would you think HONESTLY, and remember we never hold anything back and always tell each other our true feelings, if Faith and i started dateing?" he bit his bottom lip and obvious motion that he was nervous.

Bethany smiled at the cashier but turned her full attention to Talon. "Wait, you mean like you're actually going to try and make this relationship work, like as a serious relationship?" She bit her bottom lip as she considered this, they had promised never to hold anything back; but her main concern was if he was going to be serious. "Only if you're going to try and make it work. Faith's one of my best friends, and I don't want to see her get hurt by my bestest friend." She said truthfully; sure there was a the slightest hint of jealousy on Bethany's side, but she was more happy for him and Faith. "If you're serious about it, then....you have my blessing." She said with a smile as she patted his cheek again.

he watched her and watched her face and he lowered his eyes and said " i swear i wont hurt her beth,i promise" he took her hand in his as she patted his cheek. he kissed it gently and said " it means so much to me that you are ok with this beth, i dont know what i would have done if it had upset you in some way"

Bethany smiled. "Puh-lease Tal. Do you think I'd stand in the way of two of my best fiend's happiness?" She asked with a raised brow, but still smiled. "I'm so happy for both of you, you don't know how much it means to me to see both of you happy." She then added in a teasing tone. "Just remember not to forget me every now and then."

He smiled and released her hand and listened to her he chuckeled and took back his card and grabbed all the clothes bags that held his new clothes and said " dont worry blondie, i will always have time for you and my life, besides faith knows how close we are and im sure she wont mind us hanging out just me and you sometimes" he smiled gently and walked out of the store.

"Yeah, she does." Bethany said as she picked up her bags and walked out of the store. "And I won't get upset, or annoyed, if you want to just hang out with her. I'm not that selfish." She said with a smile, then glanced about. "Wanna hit another store, of get something to eat?" She asked with a raised brow.

"Aw, that's sweet. For that I promise I won't bug you during your first official date; no texting or calling or showing up to check on you." You could tell from the tone in her voice Bethany was joking, and the smile on her face confirmed it. "Good, beause I'm hungry too." She said with a smile as she followed him to the food court. |

Bethany laughed. "Don't worry, I'm only teasing. Besides," She said, bruishing some hair from her face. "I might not go to the dance. It wouldn't be fun if I went alone....but I may go with friends." She said as she looked about the food cour and sighed. "I'm fine with eating anywhere, you choose."

he started to walk towards the health food place, needing to keep healthy for basketball and said " i wasnt planning on going either, but im going for faith, you can tag along with us, im sure she wont mind i mean we are your best friends" he smirked and looked at her and said " you'll end up hanging with us if you went anyway" he teased smiling as he walked up and ordered his food.

Bethany smiled as she followed him. "That's good, I know she wanted to go. I'll probably end up caving and I'll show up and all, but I'll try no to bother you two." She said with a laugh as she nodded. "Probably." She agreed as she thought about what she'd get, finally deciding on a salad.
