Green’s Academy

Weather: It has been raining at least once per day lately, from a large thunderstorm to a misty drizzle. The sun is still fighting against winters grip and allows for some nice days, but you would be ill advised to go into the ocean without a wetsuit on, the water is freezing out there.
General Information: Greens is an open RP site that is Harry Potter “based”. We use the word based lightly because we have no site plot; we are simply a town where wizards and witches reside, where parents send their budding young students for a fine education and where Harry Potter cannon characters are welcome to roam free. You can set up any cannon character that is not already taken, as long as it fits into our time frame, please ask for clarification if necessary. You are also welcome to set up one of many creature applications, from werewolves to centaurs. We would like to make the board interesting by adding in unique additions and see what people can come up with. We are hard on creature applications though so keep that in mind when posting up your application, you MUST make it good.
The little City of Greens is a thriving college town set in a beautiful cliffside peninsula in North Yorkshire, England. To muggles, it's your regular little college town, but to the wizarding world; it's one of the most prestigious Academies in Northern England; taking witches and wizards to a higher level of learning. Witches and wizards from all over the world dream of attending such a find academy, but only the best of the best will make it through to graduation day. Are you up for a challenge?
Current Events:
Greens had been a quiet little village with little more excitement than the occasional rogue out-of-towner, but all that has changed in the past two months. Several people have come up missing and the list will grow longer soon enough. There are two hungry vampires on the loose at Greens with a thirst for blood that would no doubt be their eventual demise. Harry Potter, who decided to move to Greens to be near his kids as they attended college, found himself neck deep in the largest investigation in Greens history in over 200 years. He was hoping for smooth sailing as he approached his tenure and possible retirement, but instead he is met with mysterious circumstance and a bucketful of dead end’s when it came to clues and tips. If that isn’t enough on Harry’s plate. A new rogue wizard has come to Green’s to take his revenge on the boy who lived. He is out to recruit as many as he can; in quest to take out Harry’s family. Please read this subplot for more information.

Green’s is a unique quaint little village in Northern England that has been the subject of a full scale manhunt once before, the grounds shrouded by a very dark past. A very conniving vampire stalked these parts about 200 years ago and took the lives of hundreds of Green's residents. It is said you may happen upon the ghost of one of those long lost victims roaming through the forest. The vampire that took the lives of so many was never captured and may still be at large. It is said he likes to revisit old haunts, so he could return one day and you could be on his list.

This is just a taste of what is going on at Green's Academy, come and build a story with your character(s) and take your RPing to a whole new level. We have many job openings, and a really cool way to play Quidditch, that involves all members. We just ask that you play by the rules and have fun and you decide the rest. Keep in mind this is an Intermediate to Advanced RP site.
