Bethany nodded as he spoke, then went to slow dancing with him. Bethany was having an okay time, she was just kinda going with the flow right then.....having had a slight mood swing(this happens often) She was just kinda sobered, but still had a smile on. "I'm a little thristy, do you mind if I go get a drink?"

The way that Brendon was so confident and also flirty with her was a turn on.And he knew she liked it.She stood up and then began to walk to the booths that were secluded in the back.She turned to look at Brendon as if to tell him to follow her.She had given him that look msny times and he grasped the look almost evertime.Staci smiled her alluring smile and she turned back to go snag a booth.

Jake let go of her and he let her go get drink "Sure.Go ahead." Jake went and founf a table that was by the dance floor so he could spring to action with someone at anytime.Jake looked around and scopped out the room as Bethany went to get herself a drink.

Brendon watched her, then looked around. There were other girls around, but why go looking for one when tere was one who wanted you? He followed but shot one last look to Bethany, seeing her head for a drink he nodded and went to the booth. "So, what does Ms. Couchman have in mind?"

Bethany flashed a smile as she made her way through the people dancing. One she reached the bar she looked around for Staci and Brendon, and caught a glimpse of them heading for a back booth....eww. Her best friend and cousin? Bethany laughed as she shook her head, ordering a pepsi as she looked around.

Staci looked behind her as she heard Brendon speak to her.She chuckled as he said ''ms.couchman.'' She smiled and once they reach the private booths in the back wall she chose the one in the corner.Yes people could see them if they looked hard but they also had their privacy.She looked at him,grabbed the collar on his shirt with both hands,stood on her tippy toes and opened her mouth "This." and she planted a kiss on him.Yep this was the start of their long make out session.

Brendon returned the kiss, never being one to denie a pretty girl. He pulled her closer to him and ran a hand through her hair. He seperated and smiled. "I thought this would be what you had in mind."

Bethany got her drink and leaned her back against the counter as she sipped her drink, watching the people dance. She didn't even risk glancing at Staci and Brendon; she knew by now they'd be locking lips and that wasn't something she enjoyed watching.

Staci still held onto his shirt collar but she got off her tippy toes and she was now firmly planted on the ground, but she was ready to be back to his lips once more. "You seem to know what I'm thinking here lately." She said as her dark green eyes glistened under the low hanging lamp.She bit her bottom lip and waited to hear what he would say or see what he would do next. |

Jake kept shooting glances to Bethany.He was dancing with a new girl but Bethany kept his interest and he had no idea why he couldn't stop looking at her.Ryan also caught a glimps of two people that kissed and then were taking.He soon figured it was Bethanys brother and a girl who he forgot her name.

Bethany looked at Jake dancing and offered a smile before she took another sip of her drink. Bethany rolled ehr eyes when her cell phone vibrated and she flipped it open to find a new text. She replied quickly then decided she'd check the time. "Shit, I'm going to miss curfew!" She muttered as she looked towards Staci and Brendon, not sure if she should bother them with telling them she had to go-she hated missing curfew because then she'd have to go visit the dean.... not fun. She decided to text Staci that she was leaving; since they'd both driven there in their own cars.
'Staci, almost past curfew! I'm heading back to school now.!Beth'
After pressing send she looked to Jake and waved, mouthing 'Bye' as she did, then began to make her way to the exit. |

Brendon smiled. "What can I say? I know you pretty well." He said before giving her lips a soft kiss. Yes he liked Staci; but this is Brendon Kendall we're talking about....... he likes a LOT of girls. |

"Ya all those..." Staci got cut off by her phone buzzing the pocket of her skirt.She held up a finger to Brendon and read the text."Beth left for curfew." She said.Staci looked up at him knowing he would probably be happy that Bethany was still being responsible.She shifted her eyes to his body and then back to him.Yea they liked each other and they both knew it.But they were similar in the way they liked alot of people.Thats how they came up with the whole friends with benefeits deal.they could be togeather "physically" but with out the strings.

Jake waved by and once the song was ovre he checked his phone for the time.And he thought he might leave and go elsewhere.He hugged the girl he was dancing with and he took off.He never gave a second look to Brendon and Staci.

"Just a second." he said as his phone buzzed-anoth girl like always- "No, I said tomorrow. I'm busy tonight. Right, bye." he said closing the phone then shaking his head.
